This unit replaces the original 110 series thermostat. It is called the 220 series. It has simplified pilot lighting and easy-to-adjust gas pressure regulator. It has a special feature where it will turn the gas off if the water temperature exceeds a pre-set level. This product should really be installed by a licensed gas appliance installer.
