The best way to increase your line capacity per drum size is with a HSC rope & chain kit. HMPE Hi Spec Rope is the same stuff used in 4×4 winches. It is stronger than steel per diameter and goes a long way to adding extra length per given drum size. All HMPE rope kits come with a double braid nylon tops shot for stretch and abrasion resistance against the sea floor. The top shot can be changed with wear if desired.

HSC5x150 is suitable for the GX2, GX2-HD, or any drum anchor winch with a 250mm drum diameter.
*Rope & Chain feed can be affected by winch installation. In some instances a little rope may have to be cut back to suit a narrow feed.
