Overview

If you have an electric brake control unit fitted to your boat, trailer or caravan etc, there is a risk that the battery power controlling your electric brakes may fail. Indeed, in NSW it is mandatory for all trailers mass over two tonnes gross to have some sort of real-time battery monitor to alert the driver. Other states may follow the NSW initiative, (as they seem to do). The SmartCheck is such a device. It does not mean just a catastrophic disconnection, it can also just mean monitoring a battery just dying, i.e. not being charged, battery sulphation etc.

The ‘SmartCheck’ will monitor up to 4 batteries. It is wireless and provides a fail-safe red-amber-green light indication right on your vehicle dashboard in front t of you. In the event of an abnormal condition an audible alert sounds as well.

This unity is a must for the safety- conscious driver who does not like surprises on the road.

It can also be configured to monitor non-brake batteries in your boat or caravan, such as fridges, freezers etc. (Monitors up to 4 batteries)
