The Powertech Type 2 to Type 2 Coiled AC EV Charging Cable provides a dependable connection between a Type 2-equipped electric vehicle and an untethered Type 2 AC charging station. It is rated for up to 400 V three-phase 32 A (22 kW) and 240 V single-phase 32 A (7.4 kW). Actual charging power depends on the vehicle and charging station.

The cable has a total length of 7 m. Because of the coiled design, its approximate maximum usable reach is 5 m. The self-coiling cable naturally contracts when released, helping keep it compact, organised and easier to deploy and store.

By helping keep the cable away from the ground, the coiled design reduces dirt pickup and everyday abrasion in home and public charging environments.

The cable is designed for Type 2-equipped electric vehicles and untethered Type 2 AC charging stations that use a compatible Type 2 interface.
