Multi-adaptor portable EV charger 10A to 32A AC07kW Type 2

The Powertech Portable Flex Type 2 EV Charger is supplied with a 10 A adaptor and supports charging at up to 2.4 kW from a suitable 240 V outlet. Optional 15 A and 32 A adaptors, sold separately as ME0005 and ME0006, support charging at up to 3.5 kW and 7.4 kW respectively when used with suitable outlets and circuits. Actual charging power depends on the vehicle's onboard charger.

Its compact, portable design makes it suitable for home use, road trips, and backup or emergency charging. The Type 2 vehicle connector is compatible with most BEV, PHEV and REEV models equipped with a Type 2 AC charging inlet. Vehicle compatibility and the maximum AC charging rate should be confirmed before use.

The charger and included 10 A adaptor can be stored in the supplied zippered carry bag, with space for optional adaptors purchased separately.

The charger automatically recognises each compatible adaptor and applies the corresponding maximum current setting, helping prevent the charging current from exceeding the adaptor's rated capacity. Use only the specified adaptors with a suitable outlet and electrical circuit, and follow the operating instructions.

A built-in LED screen displays real-time power output, current and charging status, giving users clear information throughout the charging session.

Built-in protection functions include overload, overcurrent, overtemperature and short-circuit protection, helping protect the charger and connected vehicle against common electrical faults.
The 6 m cable provides additional reach where the power outlet is located away from the vehicle's charging port, supporting a wider range of parking positions.

The charger has a durable, weather-resistant construction for indoor and outdoor use, subject to the ingress-protection ratings and operating conditions stated in the user manual. The mains plug, adaptor and outlet connection must be kept dry unless those connections are specifically rated for exposure to water.

The Portable Flex is a flexible portable charging option for everyday use, travel, occasional charging, and backup or emergency charging, particularly for renters or users who need a charger that can be carried between locations.

Optional adaptors ME0005 (15A) and ME0006 (32A) allow users to select a higher charging rate where a suitable outlet and circuit are available. For frequent higher-power charging, a permanently installed wall-mounted charger such as ME0001 may be more suitable.
