This product is basically used to PERMANENTLY repair cracks, flaws or porosity in heavy automotive castings like cylinder heads, water pump housings, etc. It will work on cast iron, steel, brass, copper, aluminium and bronze castings. It works by leaking out of the crack and hardening after being exposed to air in a confined space. It works best on smaller, weeping cracks.
Note 1: It is not designed to permanently repair semi-flexible cracks such as head gaskets, flexible radiator components, however, but may work temporarily.
Note 2: It is not a cure for overheating. The source of that problem must be rectified separately.
