These axles are made from high strength steel, machined at each end for a tapered wheel bearing set. Simply measure the length of the old axle (accurately) and choose the equivalent length from the products shown below.
• All axles are square section, 40 or 45mm
• 40mm axle taper for LM(Holden) bearings
• 45mm axle taper for SL(Ford) bearings
• Capacity of 40mm square axle, 1000kg recommended wheel no larger than 14"
• Capacity of 45mm square axle, 1450kg recommended wheel no larger than 16"
• All axles made from solid medium tensile steel
• Screw threads of bearing retainer: UNF
